We’ve grown up in the suburbs and decided to become a little more self-sufficient and bought 5 acres in Spring Grove Illinois. Aside from mowing all of this grass we plan on growing crops and fruit while raising chickens and bees. We’ll be chronicling our adventures in hopes that you find them informative, helpful, and will learn from our successes and failures.
